^24-25 In obedience to God, for a second day the Israelites advanced against the Benjaminites. But the warriors of Benjamin came out of Gibeah, struck down 18,000 warriors of Israel, and won another great victory.

²⁶ So all the people of Israel, all the warriors, went back to Bethel to weep before the Eternal.
